BEDROOMS

We want to make sure you are comfortable at Canyon Ridge. We have chosen the beds, the bedding and the towels carefully. All the bedrooms have top quality queen-sized beds made up with crisp white cotton bedding. The towels are thick and fluffy and dressing gowns are supplied.

There is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space in all bedrooms which means you don’t have to live out of suitcases.

The Gold Room

The windows of the ground floor Gold Room face towards Coronet Peak and the Cardrona ski field. French doors open onto the north-facing (midday sun) terrace overlooking the Shotover River. Ensuite bathroom with separate toilet.

The Red Room

The windows of this upstairs room look west onto mountaintops that tower over the large elm trees at the property entrance. The north facing dormer windows look deep into the canyon that gives the house its name.

The Burgundy Room

The windows of this upstairs room look across to the steep, craggy back of Queenstown Hill and the sunrise. In the near distance the Shotover Gorge opens out into a wide river flat.

Both the Red Room and the Burgundy Room have window seats in the dormers – good places to relax, read and catch the winter sun. These bedrooms share a bathroom.

The upstairs foyer opens onto a small terrace with views of the jet boats on the Shotover River.
